Stevia is a sweetener with no nutritive values. To break it simple, stevia has no calories in it. Stevia is of great benefit if you are trying to lose weight.

In the year 2009 study, the participants consumed 20 milliliters of stevia extract daily for a month which may have helped manage their cholesterol as well.
The study proved that stevia lowered total cholesterol, LDL cholesterol and triglycerides with No Negative Side effects. It helped increase good cholesterol which is HDL.
